Daryl decides he likes kissing as much as Beth does but maybe they are ready for something more. He isn’t sure but he’s ready to try even if all this restraint between them breaks and they drown in all their desire for one another; she’s the anchor for him to this world and together they’ve etched out a perfect corner of it just for the two of them.


Days after they ran from the funeral home, Daryl keeps going back to the doorway where he stood and listened to Beth sing. He’s starting to think about that room and about walking into it. About what they might do in there. But he can’t get her song out of his head.


After Beth manages to escape from Grady Memorial, she’s captured by a very different enemy. Rick and the group find her month’s later at Negan’s compound during the siege. After bringing her back to Alexandria, Beth seeks comfort from the one person that can truly give her what she needs.


Beth gets a Holidays for Heroes card from her local church and decides to send a care package off to a deployed service member in Iraq. Daryl never got care packages from anyone when he was deployed, so when a box comes with his name on it from New York, he doesn’t know what to think.
