Beth Greene is Daryl Dixon’s mail order bride in 1865 Montana.
He saw her the very minute she arrived in Heavenly. He watched, trying his best to go unnoticed, while taking in every detail about the way the woman looked as the driver helped her down from the coach. She was small, slight of build, young. Her skin was fair and her hair was golden and she was a real special kind of pretty.
“So, I guess this means we’re in an alliance together,” Beth beams up at him. “Guess so,” he shrugs as they start to walk back to where their camp is being set up, making sure they pick up sticks along the way so everyone else will think they were just off, looking for firewood.
They met at the bar, but she’s nothing like the women he’s met in bars in the past. Then again he’s no longer the man he was back then either. He knows that if this is gonna go anywhere he’s gonna have to come clean. She doesn’t even want to be here until she is. And she doesn’t know she wants someone like him until she does. And then she isn’t sure how she ever lived without him.
