Daryl just wanted to play bass and make some rock music with his best friend Glenn, but when they hire Beth as their new lead singer things go from all about that bass to all about Miss Greene.

Daryl Dixon is a successful monster truck driver who spots a vision of sunshine and blonde hair in the crowd during pit time. Beth Greene is a young farmers daughter just there because her boyfriend dragged her there. What happens when she sees and befriends the mysterious driver of the truck named ‘The Archer’?

1945. The war is over and soldiers are flooding home, ready to pick up the lives they have had on hold for the past few years. Daryl Dixon has no life to return to and no plans of what he is going to do with himself. When he meets Hershel Greene, and the man offers him a job on his farm, Daryl has no reason to turn him down.

Set post-Coda, several months after Beth makes it to the Alexandria Safe Zone. Beth and Daryl are together and things are pretty great, considering zombies and near-death experiences and everything. But – though Beth isn’t sure what it all means and Daryl has even less idea than she does – she finds herself wanting more.

“I’m Beth Greene. I’m sorry if she was botherin’ you; she can be like a little escape artist sometimes.” She sticks her right hand out, while her left immediately goes to the kid’s head.
“Daryl Dixon.” He shakes her hand quickly and drops it as his eyes glance down. The kid’s just staring up at him with a big grin on her face.
“This is my Momma. Ain’t she pretty?”
Beth laughs. “Sorry, she’s four so we’re just learning social graces. I bought the house next door and we’re moving in.”
