After finding Beth, Daryl and Aaron bring her back to Alexandria with them. It doesn’t take long until Eric and Aaron invite Beth and Daryl to live with them and it most certainly doesn’t take long for Eric to figure out that the hunter and the beautiful blonde would make a wonderful couple. Of course, he had to bring Aaron into it as well.

The Alexandria Safe Zone has become their home. Daryl, helping Rick keep things in working order, has become used to the attention that comes with leading a community. However, when Beth starts earning the attention of a certain member in their society, how will Daryl react?

She wasn’t sure when it had happened. She had suddenly woken up one day with thoughts filled of him. He had always been important, both in the sense of her survival and as a person, but that had somehow changed. Her eyes would be drawn to him, whether subconsciously or of her own volition, and once her sight was filled with him, her gaze would linger…

“Relax. You like me touching you, right?” Beth realized the double meaning to her question. “Um, er, you know what I mean,” she muttered. Thank god Daryl was on his stomach with his face down, because her face was firing up with blush. The redneck wasn’t going to let her get by on that one. “Nah, whaddya mean?” Daryl asked teasingly.

Beth gets taken from Daryl nearly a year earlier at the funeral home. She’s taken to Grady Memorial Hospital but from there she’s taken once more. The people that take her, they’re viscous and vile and they can no longer be considered human in a world like this. She has been gone for a year, more or less, and has had unspeakable things done to her. She soon realizes she’s on her own and takes it upon herself to escape and when she finally succeeds she sets off on her own. She’s broken and a completely different form of herself.
With her family living at Alexandria what will happen when their lives intertwine with hers again. Does she still love them? Will she stay? Is she too broken to even heal and come back to herself? Or will new romances brew as the new Beth continues to surprise herself and others.
