Months have passed and Daryl is still grieving Beth’s loss. No matter how hard he tries, he can’t forget her and the regret of everything that was left unsaid between the two of them. Set in the second half of season 6, inspired by Daryl begging Rick not to play that CD in episode 6×10. Depressing, but will have a happy ending, because Daryl and Beth deserve it.

It starts in the van. After he’d been thrown in the back, scrambling like a caged animal he settled down. Barely moved after Dwight started driving away. Just barely discernible above the rumble of the vehicle, Dwight hears it.
