Beth looked back to him and she was smiling again and he didn’t know her well enough to know if it was an actual smile or a fake one. And for some reason, not knowing that bothered him even though he had no idea why it would. He had other things – bigger things – to worry about than whether or not Beth Greene’s smile was genuine.
