Daryl and Beth had to flee the prison in a hurry. Beth wants to find Maggie and Judith. Daryl tries to protect Beth by shielding her from walkers and keeping her at arm’s length. Beth just wants Daryl to see her as the woman she has become. Daryl soon realizes that keeping Beth alive is easy. Keeping her out of his arms is a different story.
Beth and Daryl get to know each other better.
Beth ends up being found by Daryl, but extremely hurt and impaired by her head injury. Daryl needs to learn to come to terms with her impairments and how he wasn’t able to be there for her.
Beth still remembers what Daryl once told her about Santa Claus.
While the group is sleeping, Daryl and Beth express their love in the barn. Takes place during 5×10.
His words had haunted her long after they burned the shack. She couldn’t give him a pet or a vacation, but she could make sure Daryl got at least one visit from Santy Claus.
