Instead of going out and seeing the car with the white cross, Daryl leaves on his own to go wait for his girl, and Beth escapes the hospital with Noah at the end of “Slabtown”
Some days are still hard. Some days Beth slips into a gray fog, and has to fight her way out. But Daryl can remind her that she can still feel good. His little girl just had a bad dream. It’s over now.
Daryl’s had a hard day. So it helps knowing he’ll end the night able to listen to the woman through the shower wall sing like an angel, until she starts crying. Until he realizes she’s most definitely NOT crying.
