
Set some time after “Coda”, the group eventually finds haven in a safe house and starts moving on, while Daryl tries to come to terms with what happened. Little did they know, Beth was still alive…


“He had missed this most of all; feeling safe with her. He’s rarely ever felt truly safe anywhere his entire life. He was on the brink of actual sleep when he heard her. “I’m not gonna leave you.” And it all came rushing back that she was dead.” Daryl is Negan’s prisoner, but he’s not alone in that room.


Out on the road, constantly moving from place to place, things look pretty bleak for the family as every day the weather gets worse and Lori’s belly grows bigger. With dark clouds gathering overhead, they find shelter from the storm just in time. But as tough as things are right now, Beth knows that every cloud has a silver lining.


He had never seen anybody cry over coffee before. If he had, he would have laughed at them. It’s just coffee. What’s the big deal? But, he isn’t laughing and it wasn’t just anybody. It was her. It was Beth. And, she used to love coffee and she had missed it so bad. And, now she had some. And, this was a big deal.
