“Listen here, Boo Berry. I’m sick of your shit.” Daryl hisses out in a furious whisper, spinning to stare him right in the face. The ghost is so shocked at being addressed so directly he nearly steps right back through the door. “I’m with my girl. Which means I’m off the fuckin’ clock. So do me a favor and fuck off to whatever spiritual plane you annoying shits go to when you ain’t botherin’ me.”

Daryl Dixon has been working as a farm hand for Hershel Greene and now he’s caught the eye of his youngest girl, Beth. When she turns up at a bar Daryl frequents, he decides he’s got her all figured out and he’s going to put her in her place. It seems like a good plan until Beth turns the tables on him.
Series

Months have passed and Daryl is still grieving Beth’s loss. No matter how hard he tries, he can’t forget her and the regret of everything that was left unsaid between the two of them. Set in the second half of season 6, inspired by Daryl begging Rick not to play that CD in episode 6×10. Depressing, but will have a happy ending, because Daryl and Beth deserve it.
