He’s trying things now. Different things, new things. Asking if he can. Asking if he can’t. And he’s growing in confidence too. Everyday. At first it’s small changes. Confident kisses. A hand on her thigh, her ass. And then later those little things lead to bigger ones.


It’s been months since Grady, and Beth is haunted by the spectre of Daryl shot dead right before her eyes – and haunted even more by the conviction that it was all her fault. But he isn’t quite as dead as he was supposed to be.
And she’s not sure which is worse.

Together for half a year after the prison fell, Beth and Daryl finally find their way to the ASZ. The reunion is joyful, but the adjustment is difficult in ways they could never have predicted. And maybe it doesn’t need to be. Maybe they need to stop closing doors and open some new ones.


Daryl and Aaron find Beth on a scouting trip. It’s been months since Daryl left her seemingly lifeless body back at the hospital. She’s been surviving all alone with only a scraggly dog for company, and it will take Daryl’s help to help her adjust to life within the safety of ASZ’s walls.
