After a horrific murder leaves Beth’s sister a widow, she drops everything – her apartment, her job, her boyfriend, and relocates to Atlanta. She’s lucky, there’s an open position, and they seem to think she’s qualified. Now a rookie homicide detective for Atlanta PD, will she be able to deal with her less than amiable partner, and solve a case that’s quickly going cold?
“We bury our own, no matter what.”
“They didn’t bury you.”
There’s fire in her eyes when they turn on him, “They were tryin’ to.”
Or, Morgan finds Beth half covered in dirt and determined to find her family.
Beth Greene now has to cope with the fact that she has lost the one that she loves, Daryl Dixon. She’s found a coping mechanism, to write him letters every single day, but it isn’t really coping it’s more like drifting along trying to find a purpose again.
“She’s like a needle to a junky, she’s like whiskey to a drunk, she’s like poker to a gambler, she’s like a bullet in a gun, She’s in his blood, he can’t explain the rush When he gets with her, Might be the death of him, but he’s addicted, man, He can’t quit her.”

When she saw him outside the prison gates in exactly the right place at exactly the right time, she was still pissed at him for leaving. How will she deal with the new and unfamiliar feelings she has as a result of his return?
This is a one shot in which Daryl is the one to receive Negan’s bat. But before he dies, he sees Beth. Yes, it’s sad.
