
Beth is in a minor car accident, and Daryl seems to be more concerned with missing out on a prized buck.


When Beth finds herself a widow with two young sons to care for, she heads back home, to the farm she grew up on. Wanting to give her boys a good solid upbringing, she cant help but worry if she is making the right decision? Is she ruining her boys life? Will they be happy? And what about the neighboring farmer?


Daryl Dixon is a successful monster truck driver who spots a vision of sunshine and blonde hair in the crowd during pit time. Beth Greene is a young farmers daughter just there because her boyfriend dragged her there. What happens when she sees and befriends the mysterious driver of the truck named ‘The Archer’?


1945. The war is over and soldiers are flooding home, ready to pick up the lives they have had on hold for the past few years. Daryl Dixon has no life to return to and no plans of what he is going to do with himself. When he meets Hershel Greene, and the man offers him a job on his farm, Daryl has no reason to turn him down.


“I’m Beth Greene. I’m sorry if she was botherin’ you; she can be like a little escape artist sometimes.” She sticks her right hand out, while her left immediately goes to the kid’s head.
“Daryl Dixon.” He shakes her hand quickly and drops it as his eyes glance down. The kid’s just staring up at him with a big grin on her face.
“This is my Momma. Ain’t she pretty?”
Beth laughs. “Sorry, she’s four so we’re just learning social graces. I bought the house next door and we’re moving in.”

After breaking up with Jimmy, Beth decides it’s time to finally have her first drink. Beth has more then one drink and ends up drunk, she meets Daryl and the two hit it off. They end up going back to his place and their whole lives are changed forever from that one drunken night.
