bethyl one shot. takes place in the setting of TWD season 4 episode 12 (“still”). expansion of (and divergence from canon) the country club scene, in particular, with a whole lot of dialogue, character development and stuff/thangs that never actually existed outside of my mind (but should have!), and some smut.
“She had somehow been alive after a gunshot to her head, and that breath she took was another chance. No way in hell was he goi’na let her risk her life for somethin’ so stupid. No fuckin’ way. So here he was, a forty two year old man telling his twenty nine year old wife that she wasn’t havin’ no damn baby.”

Beth knew from simple observation that Daryl hated physical contact, so it just seemed obvious that he didn’t like any sort of romantic contact either.

It’s been months since Grady, and Beth is haunted by the spectre of Daryl shot dead right before her eyes – and haunted even more by the conviction that it was all her fault. But he isn’t quite as dead as he was supposed to be.
