During Daryl’s late-night patrol of the farm, he catches Jimmy doing a poor job of pleasuring Beth Greene, when this occurs twice more he snaps and throws the horny boy out of the barn to Beth’s shock. After mocking her for allowing Jimmy to continue his abysmal attempt to fuck her she dares to challenge him to do better, and so Daryl finds himself proving just how loud he can make Beth Greene scream.
Beth wants to play a game, and with a prize like that Daryl is playing to win.
“Daryl doesn’t know what possesses him to look up. There are no birds flying overhead anymore. No planes. Nothing worth seeing. Yet, as though pulled by a force beyond his understanding, he tilts his face skywards and that’s when he sees it: a thin slither of grey smoke escaping through the roof of the trees.”
Daryl finds Beth and brings her back to the Alexandria Safe Zone. They finally get to finish their conversation from the funeral home.

Her voice sounded like her skin, smooth and pure, as she sang words to a song he didn’t know the name of. Daryl reflects after the events of 4×13.
The future is alternated by a million different decisions every second of every minute and every single decision delivers a different result, a different world.
In the moonshiner’s shack, with a cartful of booze and a walker at the door, they have all the time in the world. Beth says they might as well make the best of it.
